Some car models are made with bulb bracket and power supply in the same unit. Xenon conversion lights then do not fit directly into the original socket due to cables that are directly into the xenon light. Therefore, the bulb cannot be attached properly.
These bulb holders are specially adapted to be able to attach xenon lights even to vehicles with this problem!
The bulb holder fits VW Golf 5. It is possible that it fits more models, but nothing that has been confirmed. The easiest way is to compare the socket in the picture with the socket in the car.
