Diode-bulb with five bright surface mounted diodes (5050 SMD). The bulb has built-in resistor to avoid giving cars with CANBUS broken bulb warning. The socket is BAX9s (where the guide pins are skewed). The bulb spreads the light around the lamp, since each diode spreads the light about 180 degrees. The light is creamy white, about 4300K.
Most cars can use the bulb without any error messages, but there might be exceptions. Audi and Skoda is two brands that usually still warns for broken bulb.
