Diode-bulb with five bright surface mounted diodes (5050 SMD). The socket is BA9s (where the guide pins are opposite eachother). The bulb spreads the light around the lamp, since each diode spreads the light about 180 degrees. The builb has built-in resistors so that even cars with CANBUS can use this bulb. The resistors are powerful enough for most cars, but some cars will still warn about broken bulbs.
